Data Protection Act - Protects the rights of individuals privacy regarding the use of data that is held about them by companies. It states that the data must be accurate, processed fairly and lawfully, be kept only for the time that is necessary, secure and be relevant and adequate for the use that is made of it.

Debit - The term debit means to deduct or take away. If you have paid for a service or product via switch then the amount will be debited from your account. Debit Card - This is similar to a , but you must have the funds available in your bank account before making any purchases. The money will be debited from your account within the working day.
